I was fortunate enough to get Luke Madden’s mentorship as a part of the Limit Break program. It was extremely helpful because he was very systematic and gave proper advice on what all should be in a demo reel and helped me through making all these animations. There was a marked improvement in my animations after working with him and his one on one critique was very insightful. I learned a lot about polishing animation and his critique on individual shots included advice on certain body movements that I could apply to all my animations. It was extremely insightful for me and I definitely recommend his sessions for leveling up animation skills.

Luke not only helped to improve my skills but most importantly gave me confidence in myself as an animator again. Seeing my improvement over the past few months made me believe that my gameplay animations skills were growing and with his help I have push myself even further and really focus on the polishing phase of my animations. My animation abilities improved greatly but having him as a mentor also taught me how to learn animation, what things to pay attention to when looking at references and animation techniques that greatly improve the look and feel of my animations.
